Aksum

Spiritual and cultural purpose

Explore the ancient Aksumite setting of Ethiopian Christianity and the devotional life around Maryam Tsion.

The experience

We design this continuation with local guides so there is time for place, history and living faith, rather than a hurried sequence of monuments. Specific visits are agreed in your proposal.

Responsible travel

We respect the limits set by custodians and worshipping communities, and seek locally rooted guiding and fair benefit.

When to go

We match the season to your Lalibela journey and check travel conditions before offering dates. No departure is confirmed.

Practical suitability

Some sacred spaces are reserved for worshippers or have restricted entry. Route, flights and local access require fresh checks.

Tell us about mobility, health and the kind of spiritual encounter you hope for. We will propose a route only when it is appropriate.
